here’s a thing i firmly believe - a real bff wouldn’t lecture his soulmate friend the holocaust survivor about forgiveness and serenity and just-following-orders, he would hold the nazi right the fuck down so said friend could kill the hell out of him and then they’d go out for a celebratory beer chess date in front of some major national monument.
